Geeks, Nerds and Christians

I was reading a really funny article in the Huffington Post about how the majority of Christians are geeks and nerds.  It made me laugh; then it made me think.  Then I wondered; is it really true?

I hate to admit it, but most Christians I know are wonderful and fantastic, giving and loving people; but trendy and cool they are not.  I think that's because we are less about the way we are seen by the world and more about our work and lives for God.

So then I decided we should embrace our inner geeks and nerds and in this week of Christian unity I'm going to go down the denominational lines for my thoughts.

Anglicans - dweebs

Baptists - Geeks

Methodists - Nerds

Catholics - Dorks
