Gay Marriage Debate: Don't be afraid, God is with you

The good old Church of England must have expected strong emotions at their response to the Gay Marriage Debate. Perhaps anger, maybe disappointment, possibly upset.

But did those writing the statement expect what I've seen felt by those I hold dear?
Fear!

Fear is a word that I've heard many times over the last few days.

Fear of no longer being accepted
Fear of what the future holds
Fear of church break up
And many more fears besides.

In the midst of this fear I've stumbled upon Isaiah 41:10 and the words Do not be afraid for I am with you.

In times like these we need to most turn to God in the sure and certain knowledge that His love WILL conquer all our human issues.
