Run faster - the bull is coming

It seems that there is nothing that can't be decorated with a Union Jack this summer. It's a union jack free for all for the Queen's Jubilee and London 2012 Olympics.

There are coats, bags, scarves, bears, cups, tea towels, underpants, socks, phones, kindles, plant pots, doors, boxes, pens, chocolates, lights, chairs, mirrors and biscuits.

But today, just outside Andover, I saw a rather menacing figure wearing a union jack; a bull. At first I thought it was a cow and was a nice, fun statue; but when I realised it was a bull it started to seem a bit more sinister.

What is this bull trying to say?
Is it an illustration of the power and strength of our country?
Is it a symbol of dominance?
Or is it a good reason to beat your personal best? Run faster because the bull is coming to get you.

lol! a few years ago our local village festival hosted a 'cow trail' which featured loads of these decorated in different designs all round the village. it was a great hit with the kids and some people were particularly creative with what was the same base!
