EmPoWriMo: Life on the wing

High
     High
           High
                 I go

                       Above
                The trees
          Below
The clouds

Through the houses
Visiting gardens
Over playgrounds
Into parks

Then
    High
        High
            High again

Soaring
        where
               the thermals
                                spiral

                         Spotting
               Mice then
  Swooping
In

This
     is
       my
            life
        on
     the
wing

This poem was inspired by the Red Kites which fly the skies above our woods and houses.  It came to life thanks to a prompt by Hannah for Transforming Friday at Real Toads.

Love it! It has the feeling of flight. Red Kites are such a beautiful bird.

This is a joy to read. I love your spiralling format.
