Me and my snowgirl

Here you see
Me and my snowgirl
Curly brown hair
Wearing no scarf
Half smile on her face
Racing against the sun
Fun in the snow
Go make and slide
Hide and throw
Snow is the best!

Written for the Sunday mini challenge at real toads " So the challenge, Toads, should you choose to accept it, is to write a poem using interlocking rhyme, where the last syllable or syllables on one line rhyme with the first syllable or syllables of the next"

  1. I see you really got into the spirit of it, Emma. I like the scarf/half rhyme, and the way it seems to pick up speed like a snowball rolling downhill. Thanks for participating.

  7. i enjoy how you used the chain rhyme in this playful poem. "hide and throw" my favorite line. It really is a race against the sun.

  10. A fun poem, Emma. And you used the chain rhyme well. Wow, you have a lot of snow there. Not so here....but we have extreme cold, but at least one doesn't have to shovel cold.
