Marriage is a contract
Between two consenting adults
Joined together in law
For the benefit of their security
Marriage is love
Given unconditionally
Daily for eternity to a spouse
Asking nothing in return
Marriage is hope
Despite painful experiences before
That two people will always
Look after each other
Marriage is ....
Logically sensible
Illogically thrilling
Emotionally rewarding

Marriage can definitely be crazy at times... but oh so worth it.

ReplyDeletei agree marriage can be...if...as sometimes the decisions people make in a marriage or how they treat it...is def illogical but comes to a logical (yet sad) conclusion.....its a fun adventure...that is for sure...smiles.

ReplyDeleteHa, I would say there probably is a lot of illogical in any relationship; but if both are committed and compatible it can definitely be wonderful indeed.
ReplyDeleteA good marriage requires so much hard work. I failed. Knowing that makes me sad .. though I know it 'takes two' and my feelings are illogical.
