"Resistance is futile"
Says the ginger cake
"You want a piece of me
Give in for goodness sake"
"I will NOT eat you
No matter what you say
Even when you wink
And call to me that way"
"One piece can not hurt
Just one hundred calories
Save instead on lunch
I'm much nicer than cheese"
"Stop, you're tempting me
I will not give in today
I will NOT eat you
No matter what you say"
"Resistance is futile
Perhaps you're strong right now
But I know if I stay here
You'll eat me in a while"

Linked up at Sunday scribblings. I may or may not resist the ginger cake I'm presenting at toddlers today, watch this space.
I'd throw out the cake, if I were you. It'll throw you off the diet wagon. I know from experience. Clever use of the prompt.
ReplyDeleteGinger cake is certainly a wily critter and very persuasive. A fun post!
