It's oh so quiet
It's oh so still
But in my head
It's not peaceful at all .......

It never is
    not once
It's too busy
    all the time
Mostly great thoughts
    but sometimes
It gets stuck in a rut
    not good!

It's oh so loud
It's oh so sad
Here in my head
It's not peaceful at all .......

So I get some help
     with meds
I stay busy
     with friends
I wait it out
     what a wait
And hope soon it will pass
    I pray and pray!

It's oh so quiet
It's oh so still
But in my head
I'm praying I'm better soon .......
