6 months away makes the heart grow fonder

 

On 1st September I made it to the church garden for the first time in 6 months.
I wasn't even going into the church, just visiting the garden, but the joy was intense.

I posted on facebook "Look where I am!!After nearly 6 months I ventured to the church and spent time in the church garden.  I can't tell you how wonderful it felt."

I returned later that week to lead our first Oakwood Forest Church session, thinking about Lammas and Harvest.  It was wonderful, yet surreal, to be sharing a service together in person, if very socially distanced, and we are looking forward to our next meeting in October.
