Many cultures have come a long way and it will continue to improve worldwide.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12460881702249079009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7622820281827881345.post-88792077752942296932013-03-14T10:41:06.931+00:002013-03-14T10:41:06.931+00:00exactly. I worked for fifteen years as an engineer and was.paid equally, promoted faster than most men and respected well.

as for becoming a mum, I gave up my career to be a mum because that was the choice.we made. I could not have balanced.both without failing at both in some way.

that's what I mean by equality. there are men who are the main carers in the family and they don't complain about their career progression - it's choice.

for the same job everyone regardless of age, gender, race or anything else should be treated and paid equally. and in the UK in pprofessions this is certainly happening.

hope that helps.LLM Callinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17199375981896229914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7622820281827881345.post-22203671565395596132013-03-14T09:49:56.257+00:002013-03-14T09:49:56.257+00:00hmmmm guess you've been lucky, or are pretty o...hmmmm guess you've been lucky, or are pretty or never got pregnant or had a family - 75 cents on the dollar still a long way to go baby toward your equalityAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7622820281827881345.post-71281156910348795622013-03-14T04:43:07.338+00:002013-03-14T04:43:07.338+00:00...though a lot has been changed since the time of......though a lot has been changed since the time of yore... i still think equality has never been totally reached or achieved the way it should be promoted to every mankind... yet, we can almost hope for another level of acceptance & understanding depending on how wise & brave we make our steps t'wards that aim for equality & change... smiles...kelvin s.m.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02591849636814413110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7622820281827881345.post-33160402554349677982013-03-14T01:43:24.241+00:002013-03-14T01:43:24.241+00:00I do think in some countries today equality is pre...I do think in some countries today equality is pretty much a 'given,' but I think worldwide women still have a long way to go.

Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07366010389846904663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7622820281827881345.post-79950547611018473762013-03-14T00:38:58.446+00:002013-03-14T00:38:58.446+00:00Feminism.
