Lonely inside
And lonely with-out
Lonely when I'm quiet
And even when i shout
Lonely through separation
Yet lonely in a crowd
Lonely when smiling
And lonely when I'm sad
Lonely in myself
But lonely with you around
Lonely because I feel ...
How no one else knows

This poem sums up how I am feeling today thank you
I've been there and for me sometimes lonely can be a good thing...
A very good L poem! I have enjoyed reading your wonderful words here. Thank you for sharing.
So true. you can be lonely in a "crowd." far more lonely than when alone.
I also went for loneliness & love this week with my post
Being lonely in a crowd is one of the worst feelings, but being alone to enjoy some quality time with yourself is bliss :-)
Poignant and touching.
I've been feeling that way a lot lately.
I think it's time for me to resume attending my al anon support groups. Sometimes the feeling of loss gets pretty intense.
I know you know this.
Sending you a hug and a prayer.
Thanks for linking your heart.
