Then Jesus’ mother and brothers arrived. Standing outside, they sent someone in to call him. A crowd was sitting around him, and they told him, “Your mother and brothers are outside looking for you.”. “Who are my mother and my brothers?” he asked. Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.”
What great news is this; we who do God's will are Jesus' family. We are that close to him, in the circle of his care, embrace and love.
Unconditionally bound by bonds of love, for all time. Wow!
How can we not want to share this with others, this love and acceptance.
Jesus we thank you for enfolding us in your family, in your loving arms. Amen
