I tried some still life drawing today in the mindful drawing group. I don't know why I chose a pawn but it was fun to try and the poem developed afterwards...
Are we all pawns
In international games
Of political conspiracies
With domination aims?
Or as humans are we pawns
On a much larger board
So power games of chess
Are to stop us getting bored?
