I packed up earlier for the drive
Buckled up
Ready to go
Even turned off the mobile phone
One hour later, slower we drive
We know that soon we will arrive
Forest trees
Sea of blue
Away from it all; a world or two
By seven pm we're home from home
By the sea we wander and roam
Watching waves
Feeling at peace
Away from it all, stress will cease
Just like that we've slowed right down
All is smiles, no more frowns
Lazy mornings
Lazier days
Time to relax, think, laugh and play
