I have enjoyed watching Stephen Fry's "planet world" on BBC2; factual, humerous and fascinating. Episode 3 this week has spoken to me deeply in one tiny section relating to how nurses will refer to the death of a child....
A little one for the rainbows end
I've never heard that before, even though I've heard and even referred to the similar phrase for adult death "rose garden". It's poignant that it's this week when I learn of this beautiful way of speaking with reverence about the loss of a child.
And it seems only fitting that the Babyloss remembrance service will be held tomorrow at the very place that I photographed at the rainbows end.
