Genesis 3 tells us that God comes looking for us when we hide or are lost. Jesus comes into the world looking and calling for us all; who is hiding from whom? When you ask where God is, ask yourself why you're hiding from Him. Genesis 3 also tells us, at the end, that God protects us. He has our backs always.
The Bible is an invitation into God's story, we should engage with and help others do the same. And when we are invited that's because God loves us; not because we are good or perfect, but because He loves us.
God has revealed Himself through His word and the word of God leads us to God himself.
How that happens doesn't matter,
it's about the very real fact that..
it does happen.
