Tito and her family were forced off their lands in Colombia. Christian Aid partner Justice and Peace is working to provide legal advice to families like Tita's to secure legal land titles.
There is no way to understand how people can lack basic security in their own homes, that they can wake up one day and find themselves forced off their lands. And we need to remember that this is so much more than just their home, it's their living and sustenance through the growing of foods they eat. Thankfully there are charities working to help these families and secure their futures, what more reason to donate can there be.
Christian Aid are asking us to give £1 of you own your own home or are a legal tenant with a right to stay in your home.. Absolutely am, I commit my £1 gladly.
