Six years six faces #poetry #photo
On my desk
Are the school photos
You know the ones
With funny poses
Without parental guidance
They can be quite strange
But there's something about them
I like all the same
They tell a tale
Of the years going past
Of wonky glasses
And fake laughs
They might not be exactly
How she actually could be
But together they make
Great memories
Year two you'll see
Is not a school one
Because it was soooo bad
I couldn't buy one
I wonder how she'll feel
In years to come
About forced smiles
Will she hate every one
I don't know
But for me they'll always be
Touching my heart
Prompting memories
