Shine bright in the morning sun
Destiny tempts risky rewards
Fiery scars prove no one won
Time turners no longer work
Waterfalls of tears no longer flow
Fingertips whisper empty promises
Equanimity walks an orchid meadow
Misanthropic trolls spread hate
Blocking positivity from above
Teardrops rain down then vanish
Orchid wreaths remember love
Is this the end of all?
Is there no more turning back?
We gaze out to sea in desperation
Dreaming of all we desire but lack
Still yourself and calm
Let anxious tension unroll
Know the peace of God above
