Praying against inter faith conflict

For the past week I've read and watched the news from the middle east with sadness and horror.
Sadness for those offended by the amateur piece of rubbish which is getting the same level of attention as a Hollywood film.
Sadness for those caught up in the rioting and being injured or bereaved.
Sadness for us all as we realise how much religious intolerance there is in the world.
Sadness that our governments and religious leaders can't engender tolerance, understanding and appreciation of each other.
Horror that such a film could achieve such huge status when it is one person's comment on something they don't understand.
Horror that no one of influence and power in the USA has stood up against the video and been own about their disdain for such productions.
Horror that no one of influence and power in the countries affected by the violence has brought rationality and calm by explaining that the film is in no way the views of any one country or even a group of people.
I pray for those who are offended by the film; that they can forgive the stupidity of the views expressed and realise they are condemned by most of us.
I pray for those who agree with the film; that they may realise the truth of the Muslim faith and the goodness of its followed.
Amen.

Surely a perfect piece of writing! We've book marked it and sent it out to all of my friends since I know they'll be intrigued, thank you very much!
