Boy with Birds #NaPoWriMoDayTwenty

He's a boy with birds
Two to be precise
One on each arm
Neither of them a wife

He's a boy with birds
Taking them to dinner
Pondering sauces
Which one is better?

He's a boy with birds
Struggling to choose
Which will win
Which will lose?

Xxx

Inspired by and linked up at sepia Saturday.

HA -- I think they both lost. But I love the play on "birds" as "wife."

Neither a wife ~ typical for boys at all ages

Pondering sauces ~ I hope the birds don't crap in the food.

Which will win/lose? ~ what is the object of the game?

Very enjoyable read!

I liked this, but I'm thinking no winners here- except for the family at the dinner table! Maybe.

Just took the words right out of my mouth - "which one really lost - they both did". Very clever poem.
