Children around the world miss a total of 443 million days of school due to water related illnesses.
That's a whole heap of school days missed and I'm assuming that that number is every year. And it's due to things like tummy bugs in the majority. Clean drinking water is a right, not a privilege.
Christian Aid are asking us to give 5p for every clean glass of water you've had today. Since it's 8 in the morning that's not much, but yesterday I drank at least 8 cups of clean water so I'll donate 40p for each of us = £1.20.
