This afternoon, while Rachel was on a break from her temperature (thankyou Calpol), we sat down with some paper, washable felt tip pens and a pot of water to see if we could do some water colour painting without the mess of paint.
We succeeded.
In fact it was a huge success and something we'll do again.
If you want to try here are the very simple steps:
1. Draw your picture
2. Before it dries, wet your finger and rub all over the picture to make it wet and paint like
3. Admire your handiwork
Rachel painted some fireworks and a bonfire, perfect for Guy Fakes night tonight; and an orange tree. I'm very impressed with how it worked out.
