Letter blues

Awaiting letter
I know not what it holds
Anticipation

In other words:
Friend wrote a letter
Told me it was on the way
I'm still waiting here

Facebook reminds me
That it's written and sent
But it's not here

When will it arrive?
And what will it say to me?
Desperate to know.

Love this, life is full of waiting moments, kettle to boil, toast to pop, letter to arrive. Excellent

Delayed gratification! But, and it is a big but, you will have a written letter to treasure and reread and reread.

You will have to let us know in another poem in the coming days. Smiles!

I feel the anxious waiting. I am thankful to email but still I wait. It's better not to know something is coming.:)

LOL! So many ways to plan, anticipate and commiserate when assumptions do not pan out. But it is a joy to be so connected.
