I found that song haunting too! Nicely drawn haiku!

I am constantly amazed by the range of expression that people can find in 17 syllables. Sometimes, even fewer, depending on the form of Haiku. I love this piece. Thank you, so much, for bringing it to Haiku Friday.

Painful touch on skin
Beaten there with switch or whip

Welcome at Carpe Diem Emma. I am your host and I try to comment on every post I get, but rright now I am a bit behind on commenting.
What a wonderfully composed haiku you have shared here with us. Very strong in it's choice of words ... that first line [...] skin feels every touch [...] I like very much.
