Beneath low hanging clouds

This tale of autumn love was part written, then illustrated at the mindful art group and then completed. I hope you enjoy the imagery and all 3 poetic sections
Beneath low hanging clouds
Devoid of rain or hail
Mountains touch the sky
As celestial souls flail
On crisp starry nights
The moon sways in time
To slow September songs
Confirming all is fine
Bonfires spark
Risking fallen leaves
Light chambers of the heart
Silence darkest dreams
Walking coconut lined paths
To coral blossom shores
Fairytale reminders
Of truths that went before
Sundowner cocktails
Retreat again to cellars
Arachnophobic tourists
Tell tales to friendly fellas
Memorable sunset
Blesses forest bathing
Baskets of berries
A sign that autumn is racing
Undertows strengthening
Loosening ancient anchors
Blue moon tidal forces
Blooming algae darker
Collapsing temperatures
Herald summer goodbyes
Embrace comfy cardys
Whilst trying not to cry
Wildflowers dimple
Salty top to toe
Storing up protection
In root systems below
Sand cities collapse
Creations lost to sea
Magic shapes of love
Silence lonely screams
Seasonal habits buried
Until time to start again
Flourishing from nothing
Friendship always remains
