Carnivals of Planetary Care

The first two lines of this poem were going round my mind and the rest slowly emerged over the last hour.  It's saying something about creation and repairing the damage done across generations.  I hope you like it.  The artwork is a mosaic design I drew yesterday and then digitally inverted.

Blue eyes pierce the darkness

Crossing the honey bridge

Between alternate dimensions

Where instincts run feral

Dropping foundations of ecstacy

Barefoot in the moonlit grass

Among the constellations

Musical notes hang nightmares

Borrowing lost equanimity

Echoing songs of relaxation

Skipping familial beats

Growing wilder highs

Jars of dirt all that's left

From long abandoned forests

Across aeons fireflies beckon

To carnivals of planetary care

Will these records clash or stick

In the auction of our lives?
