Do you see it?

Do you see it?
Do you?
Look
It's, it's, it's a mouse!

Catch it now
Catch it
Come on
Don't let it get away!

It's so exciting
So exciting
Look
It wants me to chase it!

I've got it
Look
Cool
I've got the mouse!

It's not playing
Come on mouse
What's wrong?
Don't you want to play?

It's stopped playing
I'm bored
Oh well
Bye bye mouse

Do you see it?
Do you?
Look
It's, it's, it's a mouse!

What fun to play with a cat, isn't it? Your poem has captured the cat's enthusiasm for playing with what it thinks is a real mouse! Nice.

You have indeed captured the personality of a playful cat. I can just see a cat watching, pouncing and thinking these things!

Our cat brings them inside and deposits them on the rug when she gets bored with them. Yikes! I could picture this kitty clearly....a fun read!

Oh, my gosh. What a fun poem to read. I could feel kitty's excitment and then disappointment. I can see this happening through you words so clearly.
