Building bricks piled up
Waiting for the plan to form
Patient in their strength
Empty site waits too
Wondering what's coming next
Excited in hope
Builders check diaries
Worrying it might not work
Hoping call comes soon
Owners keep calling
Stressed about the future
Can't sleep for the fear
Which of these are you?
Bricks, site, builders or owners
How are you with life?
Xxxxx

Seems everybody's waiting for something to happen before they start to make things happen.
(Kind of missing the point, are't they?)
Thanks for playing M.M.P.P. Emma!
I read this the first time and was amazed by the flow, then I realized its one of your haiku poems isn't it.
yes, well spotted
how did you get the idea of the 'characters'?
I'm not sure, but it helps that I'm an engineer and am very used to building sites
cool. does that mean that the different roles tend to have these characteristics?
I wouldn't want to generalise, but I guess there's some truth from.my experience
possibly, but then someone has to make the decision to start and my experience is that that's the decision no one wants to commit to :)
we've been in the process of adding on since last May and we are
actually pleased that it has gone so well. We are in the last stages....the nit picky details such as baseboards and paint touch ups.
Lovely haiku and clever characterizations.
very inspiring question...I think I am all of the above, starting with the first and then progressing to the others as my patience grows thin. :)
