Deep and thick it came
Covering all the world we knew
Transforming it all
No more green to see
Now a world in black and white
Colour drained and gone
Light found a new home
Bouncing round, playing it's games
Racing over dark
The extreme weather
Meant our world was transformed
Into something strange
Not worse or better
Just different from our usual
And then it was gone
And then we missed it
We regretted our complaints
And we reminisced

Don't we all like a good old moan. You're right.
Appreciate what we have when we have it.
Nice piece.
smiles...i am looking forward to snow....we are supposed to get more on friday...then it was gone and we lamented it...ha...isnt that the truth...it will be hot this summer and we will pine for the cool...
smiles...nice...we had some snow over here as well...and yeah..how it changes the landscape and intensifies the light...
...and then we lamented. :) We are never satisfied, are we? :) Love the silhouette of the tree.
I like how you describe light and darkness here. It's true how we to take for granted what we have until its gone
Extreme weather can change anything. If only for just a little while. Terrific post.
