It's Time

It's time to go
Not yet, you can't
I must, it's ok, I'm not scared
But I am, please stay
No more, it's today
But please, I'm begging
I know, but believe me, it's time
It can't be
It is my love
I can't bear the pain of leaving
I know but the joy of meeting again will be worth it
Do you promise?
I do, let me go
I love you
And I love you; I always will

such sadness and desperation, it's like a child being.left behind. I wish.it didn't make me feel so raw, that is good poetry.

Emma, I could feel the pain of the one not wanting to let go! Beautiful poem!
