Come and go
Go and play
As one comes in
The other goes out
Birds on the wing
Scream and shout
World transformed

This is yet another real toad linked poem inspired by the work of M C Esher, this time his wood block work entitled "day and night".

I especially like the way you reversed words in successive lines. That really grabs the idea of an ekphrasis poem based on Escher's tessellation.
