Windows to the soul

Windows to the soul
Blue
Green
Brown
Grey
It's amazing what our eyes say

Sad
Glad
Worried
Amazed
Showing what we haven't explained

Shut
Tight
No
Light
Ensuring no one blinds us bright

Open
Wide
Looking
On
Showing everyone where we've gone

Our
Eyes
Can't
Hide
They're windows to our inside

Emma, I agree with all you have said about eyes. They are the first thing I notice about a person. They DO reveal so much.

How true...so often we try to hid what we are feeling, but our eyes betray us.

Astute observation - eyes tell all!

Playing with eyes of all colors, showing how similar their function can be . . . wonder if the blind eye is also a window in or if it is a mirror?
